Return to Siri results

I ask SIRI for a list of family restaurants in a location and get back a nice sorted list. After clicking on one of the results, it takes me to the Map app. How do you return to the SIRI results without having to ask the same question again?

Sorry - no answer. Just the same question. Common Apple! This is ridiculous - you're supposed to be the experts at usability! Did nobody at Apple foresee this obvious need to go back to search results? You "only" had 20 years of Web search engine behavior to draw inspiration from!

I Love Siri, but with the constant shortcomings versus the Google voice search app, I'm getting pretty fed up. At the moment, Google's voice recognition is MUCH faster (is it the Apple servers that are too slow?) and it doesn't suffer this basic UI design flaw. If Apple didn't make it so difficult to swap out Siri (and maps for that matter), I would have swapped already. Since I can't, I'm relegated to whining here in the hopes of shaming Apple into improving its products faster.

Common Apple, how basic a thing to miss!

I don't think so. When I ask Siri for restaurants nearby, it gives me a list. When I click on one of them, it gives me a summary and a smalll, non-interactive map picture. From here i can hit a BACK button to get back to the results list, but If I click on that picture, it takes me to the map app - and can never get back to the results!

Thanks - works great!

Apple should have really provided some visual clue that there are past results that can be scrolled to - like an arrow or something. How are people supposed to know to scroll on this screen? Apple's usability prowess is deteriorating.....Hey, Apple, if you're reading this - feel free to hire me. I'm a UI developer who's bored with his current job - you really need me! :-)

Exactly albedofruit, Lots of usability sacrifices for the sake of visual elegance. I don't give a sh*t about visual elegance if I can't figure out how to use it! Nothing could be more idiotic! This approach causes more stress in people's lives that apparently the visual team hasn't considered. Or is it that the selling is achieved by the images of elegance and then they don't give a sh*t about the later usability and stress placed on the customer. It's all about the $$$
