Bus error: 10 running Java after 10.7.2 (11C74) update

After doing a software update today I can no longer run the Java compiler or any Java programs from the Terminal.

I consistently get the error --> Bus error: 10

Any help would be apreciated.

Hi Joe,

I had the exact same problem, but all I had to do was "unfix" the symlinks in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions which the Java update always screws up. Just make sure the 1.5 and 1.5.0 symlinks are pointing to your actual 1.5 JDK and you should be back in business.

Or at least this worked for me! 🙂
