iTunes / ios update error 1654

Hi all,

I stumbled on this tonight and thought somebody else might find it helpful.

When upgrading from ios 5.0.0 to 5.0.1, I initially received the update error 1654. Regretfully this error isn't documented on the support pages.

I found that I was able to get around this particular error by disabling the "sync over wifi" option for my device in iTunes and then attempting the upgrade again.

Hope somebody finds this information useful.
