Is there a way to make the fonts taller without making the entire font larger?

I want to keep the width of the lettering of the title on a poster. I would like to make the title taller without making it wider. Any suggestions?

Pages/OSX restricts altering fontshapes in this manner.

Probably out of good taste.

If you want to persist with this you can put the text into a text box, copy the text box and switch to Preview .app where you can save it as a pdf and bring it back into Pages where it will distort like any other graphic.

Better is to use a font that has been designed to be narrow and tall.
