4S phone asked to update today and shortly thereafter the power disappeared. I know the phone was fully charged. What do you do?
I plugged into my Mac to see if iTunes would recognize and nothing.

Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...
Thanks but the phone appears to be dead - was working fine 2 hours ago. No buttons react and I guess I will have to go to ATT store tomorrow as there are no Apple stores here

Good news, let it set overnight and tried the restore buttons together and it started right up. All is right with the world. Thanks.
