Why is my iPod nano not part of the replacement program ?

Hello,
I've read on the internet that the iPod Nano 1st Gen are replaced. But, when I enter the serial n° of my iPod on https://supportform.apple.com/201110/ , I got a note which tells me that "The Apple product serial number you entered is not part of this program."
Why this note?

It's good to see that Apple are finally admitting there's a problem. My 1st gen iPod Nano burnt my niece's hand. I contacted Apple and the response "Your device is out of warranty. Not our problem. Buy a new one". So I threw it out, and switched to the Creative MP3 players. I can't participate because I already disposed of the dangerous MP3 players, but I already have a new MP3 player anyway that doesn't burn the users hands.

Why is my iPod nano not part of the replacement program ?
