Siri is still Beta?
Don't recall Apple releasing a new product with a beta app as important as Siri.
Any thoughts?

Apple made it seem that beta meant they were looking to add more languages to Siri, not that it was "incomplete".
Currently Siri supports 5 languages:
• English (US)
• English (UK)
• English (Australia)
• French
• German
I believe Gmail was beta for around two years. Software that global needs a few million people picking it to pieces.
I was referring to Apple Apps
Perhaps they didn't want to push back the release of the new iPhone any further, but didn't want to exclude Siri either.

I keep hearing over and over that Siri is beta, except on the iPhone 4S tv commercial I see 50 times a day advertising the iPhone 4S with Siri as its premier feature - no mention of beta, no small print, nothing.
I use it all the time on my iPhone without any problems.
It is not beta in the way you think it is.
So, the "beta" designation is just the lack of additional language support?
It's amazing that the system-wide Siri server outages never affected you.
Yes that is exactly right.
I have only had a problem with Siri being down one time and it was only for about an hour. I do think I use Siri more than the average person.
