Cannot open Smart Notebook software

Hello Community! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I just installed Smart Notebook software on one of our teachers' MacBooks. However, when I launch it I just just some kind of error message and the program never comes up. I know it should work because the link for the software was sent directly to me from their support team and has been installed on several other MacBooks in the building.

Here is the message it gives me:

The error report indicates this Apple computer is running Mac OSX 10.6.1. The current release of SMART Notebook 10.8 and SMART Product Drivers 10.8 for Mac should open and run. The line "Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/Senteo.framework/Versions/B/Senteo" suggests SMART Response 3.5 for Mac is improperly installed or not installed at all.

You can manually unisntall SMART software or download and run the updated SMART ToolSet "Black" version and select the "Clean Up (Keep Gallery)" button: click here

Then run Education Software Installer for Mac: click here

As for Microsoft Word, you will want to take note of the exact error message and search for more information about it on their Office support website: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/
