Piano keys: they shuld work just out of the box: you connect your CME via USB, you open mainstage, select a patch and play. This also works for logic: create a virtual instrument strip, select a patch from library, and start playing.

Faders and Knobs: they work out of the box for mainstage, but you have to go in layout mode and use the "learn" button on each knob on the screen you want to tie with your keyboard (refer to the manual, it's short and well written)

Transport in logic (play, record and such buttons): there are two ways:

Method 1:

- go to menu bar > Logic Pro > Preferences > Key Commands and teach Logic every single key

or

Method 2:

- go to menu bar > Logic Pro > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Setup

- press New > Install...

- select a mackie Designs | Logic Control and press Add

- configure it on your keyboard port/channel

That's it 😉 I hope I set you to the right path.
