Can I subscribe to iTunes Match with an iTunes GiftCard?
Also, If it is possible, will it just take another $24.99 off my giftcard account when it is going to renew after the full year?
I don't want to put a creit card on my account.

No, you need a credit card (read several other posts with this identical question in the past 4 hours).
I hope you aren't using the iTunes beta that features iMatch. That's only for developers, will likely expire, and I don't know what will happen to accounts created under it when it does.
Hi all.
Same here. What's wrong with using Store's Gift Cards? It is the same payment, just different mode.
I use Store Credits because this way I can better control how much I and my family members (they share my account) buy in the store.
Cheers
Retail gift card or an iTunes (or App store or iBooks giftcard) ????
You cannot use a retail gift card in iTunes but you can go to an Apple store and use it to purchase an iTunes giftcard.
IF you have an iTunes gift card simply redeem it in your account, it will show a balance, and then buy iTunes Match. I did it.
No. A credit card number in required in the account to be able to purchase media. Even if it's something that's fee. But I can tell you for a person who spends money in iTunes, my iTunes match charge doesn't show up in my credit card. And I knew exactly how much I had before I purchased iTunes match. It came out of my itunes credit from "iTunes" giftcards.
what do you mean you have to redeem the gift cards into your account and then purchase iTunes match??
its already redeemed & i have the credits in my account but im not able to subscribe for the service because they need CC
Yes, iTunes requires a credit card in your account in order to purchase anything, even if you're "purchasing" a free app or whatever. If you have iTunes credit, as long as there's enough to cover for whatever you're trying to purchase, your credit card won't be charged.
not true, it wont ask for a credit card to buy anything if you have enough gift card credit. However, if you want to subscribe to iTunes match then you need to have a credit card on file even though it will take the money from the gift card credit.
I am very disappointed in the required credit card information to subscribe to iTunes Match. The whole reason I buy gift cards is to keep my credit card information off the internet. I will not be subscribing to iTunes Match until this requirement is changed.
I will also not being subscribing to this service as i also do not want my credit card details on file!
I currently have £95 store credit but still they want my credit card? To many recent big company problems with credit card details being lost/hacked
this is silly! iv been waiting so long for the service to be launched now i cannot subscribe because i use gift cards!
Mine was deducted from my iTunes credit added to my account with gift cards. You have to redeem the gift cards into your account and then purchase iTunes match.
Hi.
Is there a way to leave the credit card info clear, just like in the iTunes Store Account, and use store credits (iTunes Cards)?
Thanks
Sorry. I see a credit card is required. This is because it looks like Match is a reoccurring charge once a year. I had gift card balances on mine so it didn't charge my card.
