iTunes Match with more than 25,000 songs

hey everyone, I know this is kind of a old topic now, but I have itunes match and well over 25000 songs in my iTunes match library..... I think Apple lifted the 25000 limit..... if you dont believe me try it for yourself.

Do you have over 25,000 songs that are NOT purchased from iTunes?

The songs that are purchased from itunes do not count towards your total number of songs.

I'll be interested to see if anyone else has any luck.

Yes, the majority of my musis has come from CD's, i very rarely buy music from itunes.

I had to cut down my library originally because of the 25000, but now i just went to 26000 and its not giving any errors. Im going to re-add another 2000 and see if it still works

Well, im confused. I had 2600 (roughly) available. I added an extra 2000 songs, and when it started uploading this happened. But its still over 25000...any ideas?

Have you analyzed your Itunes library.

Do you know following:

1 Number of tracks matched

2 Number of tracks purchased

3 number of tracks uploaded

4 Number of tracks ineligible

5 Number of tracks wating

6 Totakl number of tracks in your library.

As far as I am aware the limit is still 25,000. Tested this today and got message to state that "limit exceeded" after adding some tracks to take number of non-purchased tracks above 25,000.

I have not analyzed it. I'll do that and get back.... I think you might be right because I'm now getting error messages when finishing the 2000 extra. Is it possible that songs that are not matched but uploaded do not count towards your 25000?

Tracks purchased from iTunes Store do not count towards limit. Ineligible tracks are ignored by match.

Anyone else had their iTunes Match set to off with the iTunes 11 update?

Same here. My library is over 60,000... I had to filter out about 20,000 of those tracks and set up a new user account and import them into a new library... it works, but what a headache. 😕

amazon cloud player is at 250,000!

You can use Amazon's service that allows much more than 25000... Or split the difference and use both...

Assessability is functional on most all iOS devices.
