I am trying to set up Bootcamp and need help. I have my original Mac install disk. (When I went to the site suggested in "Setup" for Bootcamp I was told there are no MS files available to download. In any event, I started a disk partition but it failed. I am receiving an error message that part of my disk is already partitioned. I never did that. I am attaching screen shots from my Disk Utility so you can see how my disk is currently set up.

Thanks. But where I am stuck, Eric, is in getting rid of my current partition as you see in my original post. I cannot simply erase the disk that has all the data on it or I will lose my data, sftwr etc?
And then how do I get the two disks "merged" into one?

I'd recommend posting in the Boot Camp forum that's where the Boot Camp exports tend to hang out.
you need to resize your current partition to make room for the new partition
one would be using mac file system the other would be using if you're installing windows ntfs
been running with my imac with 2tb hd 1tb for osx and 1tb for win7 for a long time
was pretty easy to setup
