I have had my MacPro for about 6 months and thought I had a handle on things - obviously I am wrong !
I downloaded some apps in ITunes from my IPad and thru ICloud, and then to my Mac..
My question - I can see that they are in my ITunes account, but how do you play them ? Where do they download ?
I bought angry Birds for my husband, and we don't know 'where' they are ???
Any help would be appreciated .. Thank you
Apps that run on the iPad/iPhone and purchased through iTunes don't run on the Mac, only iOS devices.
Apps that run on the Mac are purchased through the App Store application or downloaded from the vendors website.

Thank you - but how do I transfer them from the app store to my Mac ?
Everything I bought was thru ITunes ..
Plug in your iPad, go to iTunes, and under "File" on the menu bar, click Transfer Purchases from XXXXX. Then after your purchase transfer, you're good to go.
By the way, get Angry Birds Rio and Seasons too. 🙂

The apps are on the Mac, under apps , but how do they 'open' ??
If I double click, I just shows the cover and then what ???
My husband and granddaughter had a blast with AngryBirds and Rio - good picks !
