Keyboard shortcut for application to front

Before I did a clean Lion install I had this shortcut for Adium that I made (cmd+.) to bring it to front even if i was in a different space.

It would swap me to that space Adium was in and bring the text window up ready to type in.

I can't figure out how to recreate this in Lion at all. Can someone toss me a bone.

I'm pretty sure I did it in Keyboard in Preferences, but the Keyboard Shortcuts section seems to have been "upgraded" beyond my current understanding. Maybe I didnt do it there, not sure. Send help.

Thx.
