Can I upgrade the VRAM on my Intel Core i7 iMac?

I have a late 2010 27" Quad Core Intel i7 iMac with an ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card with 512mb of video RAM (VRAM). I'd like to increase that to either 1GB or 2GB, but not sure it's possible or as easy as I can increase regular RAM. Please advise. Thanks!

Unfortunately no. iMacs are pretty much "what you see is what you get" machine (except for the RAM).

I've had iMacs since the first one came out and I've never worried about nor had a problem or needed to install a new hard drive .... if the internal is getting too small, just get a decent external and park stuff there. I tend to keep a lot of free space because of movie projects: the last one - including all the files, videos, special effects I created with FCE, and special intros I created with LiveType took up close to 200 GB for a movie that was just over an hour long. I then get rid of most of the files and park the ones I want to keep on an external.
