my iphone froze during software update. now my itunes does not recognize it, nor would it reset it. I only see pic of usb cable asking me to connect to itunes. i removed and reinstalled itunes already.

my iphone 4s froze during software update. I have removed and reinstalled itunes, but still will not recognize it nor reset it. In the screen I can only see a pic of the usb cable indicating me to conect with itunes. have done it several times but still does not solve my issue. I cannot use the device at all. any suggestions?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5

tried going through the steps, but after my computer downloads the software for update, it takes me back to the same message telling me to restore the iphone, i cannot get any further.

any other suggestions?

I'm also having this problem i downloaded the ios 5.1 update on my computer but when i try to update my iphone 4s the status bar under the apple logo freezes at the same point everytime any suggestions?

If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in "Unable to update or restore" and still facing the issue, then your best option is to put your iPhone in to DFU mode and then "restore" it.

Search "Force iPhone in to DFU mode" in google and follow the steps precisely (it can be tricky at times).

I'm Force iPhone in to DFU mode but iTunes stalled at the moment unpacking firware. On the i'phone imaging cable to iTunes.
