How do I include album art on a cd burn from itunes playlist

every song in my playlist has the same album art (something i created for the playlist).

when i burn a cd it burns all the information over EXCEPT the album art is missing.

is there a setting that i can change that will allow me to burn the playlist with album cover too?

Are you making a CD to play in a cd player, or are you copying mp3 files to the cd to use on another computer?

If you are making a CD to play in a cd player, the art won't copy. The CD format doesn't have a place for that information. I think this is your case.

If you are copying files to use on another computer, I'm not 100% sure. If I remember correctly, in some cases, the art is attached to the album, not the song.

I don't know about AAC but with mp3 files you can embed artwork. For general use, iTunes keeps its own copy of artwork in a separate folder and it isn't part of the mp3 file. This happens when you use iTunes to get artwork for an album. If you manually add artwork to a mp3, or use Dougscript embed artwork script, it will add it to the mp3 itself so it gets carried over when you copy the file. Note, this also increases the size of the mp3 file. itunes will still keep its own copy, and if you want to ensure the artwork is attached to each individual mp3 file you have to embed a copy in each file which ends up taking up more hard drive space. If you have a 3 minute mp3 at 128k quality which is 3 MB in size, and add a high-quality 1MB image to it, suddenly you've increased the amount of space your collection needs by 33%.
