I hate iCloud!!!
I'm so frustrated with iCloud. Apple has typically been so user friendly, but after reading countless discussions, it appears to me they dropped the ball. I've heard complaints of losing contacts, calendars not syncing, etc. and I've tried to find solutions, but honestly I just keep seeing a variety of ways to "FIX" problems that shouldn't be this difficult. I'm quitting iCloud until Apple comes out with a comprehensive explanation of how to gain all this information back without jumping through hoops. I shouldn't have to switch this off and then back on and then reset my phone or iPad in hopes that it will bring back my calendar entries over and over while then putting multiple entries of the same information on the device. I should be able to count on my iCal on my iMac syncing with what's on all of my devices. This is what I consider my calendar "home base" since it was included with the computer. Without iCloud, it always did with no problems other than the fact that I had to periodically plug my devices in to sync things up. My husband and I work rotating shifts and we depend on our calendar information being accurate so we know who's doing what and when. Unless this becomes more simplified to use like the plug and sync, I'm done with it.
Sorry Apple, you dropped the ball on this one.
