how to turn iphone in disk mode

hi i want to copy songs from iphone 4 to my laptop. i dont know how to do it. and i cant turn my iphone to disk mode as everybody says they can do it..

any help would appreciated..

my IOS version is 4.3.5 and am using itunes version 10.3.1.55
