Album Artwork Shows Up in iTunes, but Not on iPhone

iPhone 4, currently running iOS 5.0.1 and using iTunes 10.5.1

Since I updated my iOS to 5.0, I've lost 85% of my album artwork. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason for the missing covers, either. I just tried, several times, to Get Album Artwork. It found 400-some covers, and they are now showing up in iTunes. However, after syncing several times, those same covers do not show up on my iPhone. I've tried syncing, I've tried Transfer Purchases From iPhone, I've looked through all the discussions here and in other forums.

Is there a fix for this beyond restoring completely (which may not even fix it, near as I can tell)? Is it a known issue with 5.0? Any information or advice is surely welcomed.

If you're having this same problem, I just found an easy fix!

First, under the Advanced menu option of iTunes, select Get Album Artwork (if you haven't already) and make sure that your iTunes shows all the album artwork for each album.

Next, back up your phone and make sure that the music library you want on your phone is on the computer you're using.

In iTunes, select your iPhone. Under the Music tab, uncheck the box next to Sync Music. It will warn you that you are about to remove all music from your iPhone. Go ahead with it, and sync your iPhone so as to delete all music off of it.

Recheck the Sync Music box, and choose your setup option. (I always Sync Entire Library.) Sync your iPhone.

You should see all the album artwork back on your iPhone now. It worked for me, I didn't have to Restore or anything, and it took maybe 10 minutes. What a relief!
