Safe TV option for titles

What do you mean by the "music video format" and what is 4:3, your movie or your screen, and would that be a TV screen or a monitor screen.

Hmmm. Until you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed the checkbox "QT margins" is gone from iMovie HD 6. (For those unfamiliar, that's what we used in iMovie 5 to constrain titles within the TV Save Area.)

Scotie, are you saying the Music Video Format title is off your TV screen or outside the iDVD TV Safe Area?

When I test a title clip in the TV Safe Area of iDVD, the title is within the safe area as shown by iDVD. If so, perhaps Apple decided to abandon the "QT margins" feature and constrain all titles within the safe area. That would make some sense, for the feature confused a lot of people.

So if your title looks fine in iDVD but is off the TV screen, then perhaps your TV needs adjusting. Or, of course, the iDVD definition may be too generous, not suitable for some TVs.

Your project is 4:3 right, I assume your Sony is widescreen TV, but what format do you have it set at when watching your movie, also how are you watching it on your TV, ie via a DVD made with iDVD or direct from your mac.
