Pages won't remember font

Hi I am having a big issue here!
I am redesigning a company's CI using a «Muli» of the Google font library.

I have created a template using «Muli regular» as the main font (I also defined it as font style).

Once I open the template the font switches to «Muli Light Italic»

Even if I save it as a document and reopen it the font switches from regular to light italic.

Has anyone a solution for this?

I had Apples fontcolletion test the font. It reports no errors.

I am running on OS X 10.6.8 & Pages '09 V4.1

I also tested it on different Macs. Everywhere the same problem.
