I have a ipod 4GB nano which i took to the local Apple store and confirmed tht it was in the list of ipod covered by this scheme.
But the store 'genuis' mentioned that i'll have to raise the order for a replacement online and follow it up myself.
I've tried raising the request atleast for 5-6 instance using various browsers and PC's but it never went through.
I was asked to sing into the APPLE id and add my address, but as soon as i did enter the address and hit the continue button, the system just hung up and the replacement ordering stops there . . .
it is terribly frustrating to see this as a customer and APPLE is probably better off not offering such a scheme which is just frustrating to know as consumer and not work.
Not sure if anyone else has had a similar experience and the worst part is that I am not even able to reach out to APPLE through any other avenues . . call center / a simple e-mail address to explain my situation.
