Apr 28, 2012 6:53 AM in response to tmhale13by Melkiades,Can someone explain how that stupid software that is iTunes is tagging my own sketches as explicit, where I improvise on different subjects while imitating accents of various regions? The sketches are not explicit at all! Should I read 5 pages of this thread to figure out what to do? There doesn't seem to be a solution - is there just a way to disable Match?
By the way, if you're on a PC, use only iTunes to sync your playlists to your devices. Other than that, it's a pathetic software. JRiver's Media Center is 100 times better.

May 1, 2012 9:20 AM in response to Christopher Goldingby patanq,Same problem for me. Jay-Z's Black Album got switched from explicit to clean on iTunes Match. Deleted it from iCloud / iTunes Match and Re-ripped the whole Allbum from the CD I have (Explicit Version). Then again, iTunes Match decided that it was the Clean Version and as such the version that plays on all my devices (iPhone, iPad) is the Clean version, and not the Explicit version that I matched. Thanks in advance for fixing this bug. P.

May 1, 2012 3:25 PM in response to patanqby travelinmax,I do not notice certain albums being clean or explicit. Only certain songs. Sure, come albums are not affected, but in some cases it is only one or two songs (and in others almost the whole album).

May 1, 2012 3:56 PM in response to travelinmaxby Rrevenge ,More and more lately I'm having the problem of songs in my playlist will just be skipped and I can not play them. Song I've purchased on the store too. I hit play and nothing happens. It's getting worse and worse I have to delete them all the time and redownload them they will work for a few days then just start being skipped.

May 3, 2012 8:37 AM in response to Christopher Goldingby juicy_jones,I got a refund for iTunes Match a few months back after I completely lost hope in a fix for this coming before iTunes 11...I'm following up to see if its fixed because I have 2 computers with different music on both and I'm absolutely shocked that this problem has been known since November and hasn't been fixed.

I am in the process of requesting a refund as well, such a let-down this thing was for several reasons: Cleansing of songs, mis-matching of studio/live tracks, and (my favorite) corruption on the server. I agree, approximately six months into the service with bug that alters/modifies peoples' libraries and there has been no fix, or even a public promise of one as of yet.
In the meantime, I have been using Google Music (free, but you have to upload your library) and Spotify (like Netflix for music) and haven't really looked back.

May 31, 2012 4:02 PM in response to christ0pheby tmhale13,I agree christ0phe! I am no programming wizard, but I am fairly certain I could have put together a fix for this in the 6 months it has been occuring. Apple needs to get on this pronto! I am starting to get more and more aggravated with every "edited" song I happen upon as I work through my library. It is one thing to take your sweet time when you are offering a free service. But when you are charging...make it right or lose your customer base.

May 31, 2012 4:44 PM in response to Christopher Goldingby John P.,Update: I managed to secure a refund for the service and have moved on to Google Play (formally Google Music) and Spotify. Granted, this required an e-mail to Tim Cook (Apple's CEO) but they did make it happen after some back-and-forth e-mails.
In short, find something that works--you are not paid to troubleshoot or fix these problems.

Jun 17, 2012 8:09 AM in response to Christopher Goldingby tmhale13,Well, this has still not been fixed. I attempted to open another incident/ticket with Apple Support. They seem very reluctant to keep an open ticket on this. I got a reply saying that they have submitted feedback under my Apple ID to the iTunes department, but would not comment on whether they opened an actual ticket to be worked/tracked. I responded with a very direct request to 1) open a ticket that will remain open until the issue is resolved...and provide me with an occasional status, or 2) escalate my request to a level that can do such a thing.
I did get a link to a feedback page. And the support technician suggested that I pass it along to anyone I know that is having this problem. I suggest that everyone send in your feedback and also pass this link along to others that may not be in this thread. Maybe more complaints through official channels will raise some eyebrows!

Jun 19, 2012 7:21 AM in response to Christopher Goldingby shortyssc2,After overpaying to get my songs censored they did however give me 5 free song uploads and say they were working on it... i have over 50 censored songs so giving my 5 free songs is a slap in the face in my opinnion
