Photo Booth Icon Shows When Trying To Upload Pictures?

When I'm trying to upload pictures onto a website from Photo Booth, only the Photo Booth icon shows. It doesn't give me access to the pictures I want to upload, so I have to drag the pictures I want, out of Photo Booth to the desktop. How do I make this easier by NOT going through the hassle of dragging pictures? Please help. Thanks.
