Can't Re-Download??? Greyed Out Cloud?

I was trying to upgrade the quality of an album by...

1. Delete album off local machine (but not the cloud)

2. Re-download the album (preseumbly in the higher quality).

The problem is that although I still see the album in iTunes (and I see a small cloud) it won't download. No error, just a greyed out cloud.

Any idea what I am missing? Machine is authorized.

IMac 29", Powerbook, macbook, iPhone, iPad, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

I think iTunes Match is down. I've got the same problem. I also can't stream songs from my iPad right now either. I think it's gotta be down.

That might of been it. Looks like it must of kicked back on.

Funny, never had that problem with my Hard Drive.
