I would like to buy an Iphone from the USA but am concerned that I will not be able to use it in the UK. Can anyone confirm if this is possible and if there is anything I will need to do?
The officially unlocked GSM version will work fine. But why on earth do you want to do this? The iPhone warranty is not a true international warranty, thus you most likely won't have any warranty & support in the UK for a US purchased iPhone. Not to mention you can purchase officially unlocked iPhones in the UK. Your money, do what you want.
So< it will not be worth my while. I was looking at price difference really. Seems a lot cheaper to buy an unlocked phone from the US.....Is it not possible to buy a warrenty in this country??

For a US purchased iPhone...no.
If I buy an unlocked iphone from the usa, will it be compatable in the uk?
