LION & time machine

Hi

Since upgrading to LION, I have noticed that my backup sizes per backup have increased quite dramatically.

An example:

After two to three hours of my MBP being on and making almost no changes to anything. Maybe getting in a few e-mails and altering a Pages document

the backup can be anywhre from 10 megs to seventy megs in size. I don't run Windows or any virtual machines.

Snow Leopard did not have such large backups

Does anyone have any idea as to why this happens?

Thanks in advance
