I'm very confused on why my 4S isn't sending I messages to the compatible phones. I know in my phone book who has the update and who doesn't have an Iphone so i'm curious as to why in the midde of sending text mesaages it will say not delivered, and then I'll have to send it in sms form...

Do you know if all the recipients have enabled iMessage in their phones settings, and enabled Facetime in their iPhones restrictions list?  If not, they are not set up to receive iMessages.  Also, is the sending address you are using one of the ones they have set up iMessage to receive at?

It may have nothing to do with you, your iPhone or your iMessage account.  It may all be mis-configurations on the receivers end.
