When I set an appointment on my iPhone it appears on my computer. I love that. However, it does not do that in reverse. Why?

Please help me with this. In addition, I have a similar problem with contacts. Sometimes they transfer from my mac to my iPhone... sometimes they don't. Hope someone can help.

Not sure why it's not syncing in reverse.

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud

Deselect the boxes next to Calendars and Contacts, then restart your Mac.

On the iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud

Switch Calendars and Contacts off then back on then reset your devices.

Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
