Same Picture Repeating in iMovie

I'm having issues making a slide show in the newest version of iMovie... I can import photos and put it to music but for some reason one photo keeps showing up instead of others...this happens with about 20 of the pictures I have...the slide show has a total of about 153 but this one picture replaces about 20-25 of them. I've tried selecting the individual picture and taking it out or selecting another one to replace but it shows the same picture over and over. Any ideas?

I, too, struggled with that issue with iMovie for the past two days ( I admit, I am a knowledgeable rookie...) and read the suggestion about making any edit to the slide in iPhoto. After two two days of what you described all my stills popped right in this morning. I didn't know if I had issues with with the Keynote to iPhoto transition or not, but that turned out not to be the issue. I did do a minor edit to all the photos, so can't tell you if doing just one would work. Good luck.

One thing I have read that worked at least for one other person on the Discussion Group was to go to iPhoto and find that misbehaving picture. First, quit iMoive. Open iPhoto, and see if you can find that misbehaving photograph. Then make a minor edit to it in iPhoto (change the exposure slightly for instance) and re-save it back into iPhoto. Quit iPhoto and re-open iMovie.

I realize you already took that one picture out, but try putting it back in now that it's been edited and see if reacts differently.
