Why won't my sent email messages appear on my iPad, or in Mail on my MacBook appear even though they have been sent and received?
(The mail account is configured correctly and this function works on my MacBook AND iPhone but never on my iPad)
I'm still having this issue with 2 different IMAP based web mail accounts...
They both send and receive messages just fine, however on my iPad and iPhone the Sent Messages are never saved, yet on my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro they do. The web ail accounts are set up with the EXACT same settings so I'm not sure why my devices won't save my Sent Messages.
Any suggestions?
You could try deleting your account on iPad and then reinstalling it and see if that fixes the problem.

Also, just to clarify - Any message sent from Mail on my iPad will not show up under Sent Messages on ANY of my other Apple devices. However, from this same email account if I send a message from any other Apple device it will show up on the others.
I'm still having this issue, even with updated 5.1.1 iOS. Any suggestions?
Can anyone offer any help with this? I've checked with my webhosting provider and they insist that since my account settings are configured exactly the same on my iPad as they are on my Macs that the messages should be appearing.
This leads me to believe it's an iPad setting that I need to correct, but I don't know where to go...

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!
I've tried this a few times. It doesn't solve the issue. I'm still thinking that this has to be a setting within iPad email set up that I may have done incorrect or don't have set up right. Any other suggestions?
