what driver to use with hp 1015?
I'm trying to set up my HP 1015 with my Mac. Can't get it to work.
MacBook, HP 1015
Is this printer a laser or inkjet? The Apple supported drivers page shows two HP Laserjet 1015 models but that's all.

The printer is a HP Laserjet 1015. I believe that would mean that it is a jet. Not sure now that you ask.
Thanks for the reply. It is a laser beam printer and according to this list, the driver is part of Software Update and thus should be downloaded when you add the printer to the Mac.
Do you want to connect the printer to the Mac via USB cable or is the printer connected via Ethernet to your network? (Apologies in advance if this printer does not have USB or Ethernet - I'm not that familiar with HP printers).
I can connect using USB cable but I want to set up a print server. I now have the correct driver for the HP 1015 printer but need assistance to set up Net using TEW-P21G 3 port server with a 2-wire Gateway router.
