I'm helping a friend with a new 4S iPhone. He's converting from an old 3GS. We've gone throughout the activation, update to iOS 5.0.2 and restored. Now I'm surprised to find that the Facetime app is not on his new 4S iPhone. How do we fix this?
I would suggest you read the user guide. There IS no Facetime App for the iPhone.

There is no FaceTime app: Settings>FaceTime>On.
while you're on a call with someone who has an iPhone 4/4s hit the FaceTime button if you're both on WiFi. If you're trying to FaceTime with an iPod Touch or iPad add theire e-mail address to a contact and hit FaceTime from there. Hope this helps. PS There is only a FaceTime app on the iPod Touch and iPad.
I guess my face is red and I didn't read the manual. I've used Facetime on my iPod Touch and my Mac and I just *** u med that the iPhone would be the same.
