Nov 18, 2011 7:18 AM in response to Santiago Calderonby pawelfromwarsaw,It seems as though there migh be some problem with the whole my appleid system or server. I've tried to reset the password I set up to my account. I've got the: "email sent" message and nothing came. I've checked spam and it's not there. So maybe the server is "dead" or having major difficulties...

Nov 18, 2011 7:19 AM in response to Santiago Calderonby lawrence252,The problem is, most people already have itunes accounts so don't need to verify them. This is only a problem for people making new accounts.
I have spoken to 5 different people from Apple UK today. None of them had any idea about this issue and were telling me it was something I was doing wrong. One promised he could only fix the problem if I bought an additional AppleCare package, they are trying to make money from their own mistakes!
Trying to con people is not the way to resolve this!!

Nov 18, 2011 7:29 AM in response to Santiago Calderonby kelly218,I just spoke with a technician at Apple. I hsven't been able to verify because the wife has the phone. but he said all that you need to do is:
1) Go to Settings --> iTunes Store and login with your Apple ID and pwd
2) Go to Settings --> iCloud and login with your Apple ID and pwd
seems that the phone requires you to login to the store first...
