Trying to create a new account in the Chilean Store, and cannot verify email address. Seems like the problem is worldwide.

The problem is you can't verify your email address, that is btw the appleid.
Since no technician in any country knows what to do we are basically stuck...

Practical example: I acquired this MacBook Pro for development purposes at work. I need Xcode to actually begin working. I need to login to the App Store with my apple ID in order to download Xcode. I create a brand new apple ID, and never had an account before. I am now stuck in an endless loop of verification - this makes the product unusable. I think it's fair to demand answers in this instance, and not just "we're working on it".

Can't believe this has been going on for nearly 24 hours without a single posting by anyone from Apple. None of my e-mail queries have been answered either. Just Apple's usual stoney wall of silence. I can't believe I've been talked into getting an iPhone - the experience so far is dreadful. Shame on you Apple for treating us like this.

I was able to have them feel as annoyed as me and the kid on the phone says that he is going to top advisor and i might be on hold for 20min. he wants to see this resolved. as well as my other issues regarding Match account saying its associated with another account
