Nov 25, 2011 6:47 PM in response to Persanteby Cheryl @ the beach,I've finally got everything to work for my Apple ID EXCEPT for the App Store. It keeps saying this:
"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."

Nov 25, 2011 6:49 PM in response to Persanteby Persante,It longer says verified on the Apple ID webpage, and instead of giving me the "already in use" crap when I try to re-verify, I get a new message that says:
Your request could not be completed.
We cannot process your request, please try again later.

Nov 25, 2011 6:52 PM in response to Persanteby Cheryl @ the beach,I had the same thing happen earlier- I walked away from it for a few hours and now it's giving me the message I posted earlier. So I think that message might be some kind of security failsafe in case you try to log in too many times or something.

Nov 25, 2011 7:27 PM in response to Santiago Calderonby harish16,I have the same issue going on with a new iPad that I just received. Why are there no Apple Representatives responding to this issue? Does anyone know if they read this posts? I would really hope so, I definitely want to start using my iPad to its fullest potential and this is holding it back significantly.

Nov 25, 2011 7:31 PM in response to harish16by Cheryl @ the beach,I'm not sure if they read these or not. I do know that I tried to call in and just got an automated message saying there were no customer service representatives now- I'm hoping they are available tomorrow....

Nov 25, 2011 7:38 PM in response to Santiago Calderonby ramgane,I'm having the same problem "verifying" my email address. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to figure this out. At least I'm glad, I am not the only one encountering this issue. I felt like a moron not being able to download an app for my son, who was eagerly looking forward to playing some games on my iphone.

Nov 25, 2011 7:41 PM in response to Persanteby Tanyamom,I'm now getting same message of "Your request could not be completed..." when trying to re-verify (before it said I already verified but still wouldn't connect to itunes). I have 2 new ipads with the same problem and they are for my kids school work . I can't download the apps needed for Special Ed. kids. Please help Apple!!! Will talk to support in a.m. and hopefully get some answers.

Nov 25, 2011 7:41 PM in response to ramganeby erinfromcosta mesa,I just got an iPhone 4S today and my email address is impossible to verify!! For ANY email I try to use, it tells me either that it is associated with another account (even though if I do the "Find Out" thing on the Apple ID website, none of my email addresses have any other Apple IDs) or I actually get a verfication email with a link that sends me to a page either then telling me that my email is already associated with another account or my email is no longer associated with that Apple ID. SO FRUSTRATING! Help? Is it the Apple server or something?

Nov 25, 2011 7:51 PM in response to erinfromcosta mesaby Cheryl @ the beach, tried to get a hold of customer service... go to expresslane.apple.com to get your case started, then you can call during "normal" operating hours
SO FRUSTRATING!

Nov 25, 2011 7:53 PM in response to erinfromcosta mesaby Mark Nandor,Same issue here. Pretty ridiculous. The least they could do is to have a message saying that there is a problem with the server or something, instead of this "this email address already in use" horse****. An iPad is essentially useless without an Apple ID. Thanks, Apple.
