I just installed Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD on my Macbook Pro 17" Early 2011 - i7 2.2Ghz, 8GB Kingston RAM.
I just did a black magic run and it about ~290MB/sec Write & 495-500MB/sec Read.
Startup is around 20 seconds.
Geekbench scored it 11068 with version 2.1.7 in 64Bit mode.
I have OWC EXTREME g6 on Macbook pro 15" 2011 i7 2.3GHz 8GB RAM
I test on black magic it Write just 245 and read 500+/sec
but I start up under 14 second(I'm timer on I phone)
Geekbench 32 bit mode score 10700
start up 30+ APP under 40 second
boottime lock in about 8 second
Did you think OWC or KINGSTON which one is better?
I installed HyperX 240GB on MBP 15" early 2011; nightmare.... cannot get it formatted an dKingston support is zero

Could you explain me those black magic spells for the HyperX.... I have buyed a 120 gigas hyperx 3k for my MBP 5,1 early 2008... And can not format it and install osx.
