activate iphone on 2nd line?

If I were to buy an iPhone in the store, could it be activated on my 2nd line? Verizon has informed me that is no problem. I'm thinking of an in-store purchase since Verizon isn't shipping until 12/9. Thanks!

Activate it on any line that you like.

Apple has nothing to say or do with it... it is entirely up to the carrier.

Just make certain that you purchase from Verizon or specify Verizon as the carrier if you purchase at the Apple store.

That's pretty cool - until now I had been under the impression that Apple store purchases were for new contract customers only. Last night I went to check the 4S availability and was able to check for my upgrade pricing. Pretty cool - why buy from the carrier if you can get it in-person now?
