Today iPhone 4S released in India and it costs $890 in exchange of $649. Previously iPhone 4 costs around $660. Even Mac and iPad prices in India are comparable to US price tag, but iPhone 4 S is in the skyline. I do expect Apple Co. to do something to this problem or they will loose out some customers to ugly Androids.

I have Ipad, Imac and Iphone 4 which are relatively same price that of US. But iPhone 4s price has a huge deviation when compared to US. I feel Apple has to take some actions to make Indian customers happy.
Frankly from my heart, I was very much intrested in buying 4s and shocked seeing the price. Then I started thinking of why dont I buy Android phones. I am little worried why apple never responded niradacharya. Atleast a acknowledge from apple would make us happy that apple has read our concerns

What i understand, In India, the price is fixed and there is no hope in reduction of that. I can surely blame the Operators for this. They have added Excise duty, Rupee Depreciation Value with 3G auction charges😝 in the IPhone 4S retail price.
Lets hope for a better pricing of IPad 3 and IPhone 5 for Indians.
Unlocked IPhone 4S is too costly in India.
