I keep hearding about Pepakura, but it's a Windows only program is there something out there that fills in for it on the Macs ? or an emulator saw something that would emulate windows 7 without having to reboot ( saw that on the 405th's website but couldn't find it again)

There were some suggestions in this thread, though it's a bit old:

That's a pretty specialized application and so a true equivalent may not exist in a Mac form. If not, Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion, and VirtualBox all allow you to run a guest operating system, including Windows, without having to reboot. You need a legal copy of Windows, of course. Crossover Mac will run some Windows programs without needing a Windows licences. Whether it will run Pepakura I don't know but you could try it.

Regards.

Hi,

actually, there is a full equivalent for Pepakura on Mac OS X, it is called DunreebCutout: http://www.dunreeb.com

It is available in the Mac App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/app/dunreebcutout/id963592540

Alternatively, there are plugin versions for Autodesk Maya and Maxon Cinema 4D, if you prefer these "big" programs. Test versions are available.

Cheers
