Firts I reset my iphone and nothing happen.

Second I reset my computer and nothing happen.

Third I clean my computer trash leaveovers file and nothing.

Finally I take out my sim card, clean it and put it back again and finally everything works like it's always should be.

I imagine there are different causes for this error message and different fixes.

I received the error message today. In addition to this error message, if I clicked on "Check for Update" under Summary >> Version, I received an additional error message (which I didn't copy or write down).

Anyway, I quite iTunes and restarted it. I also rebooted my iPhone (an iPhone 3G running iOS 4.2.1).

This fixed the problem for me.

I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps. As the poster above me stated, I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps. I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

I also got this message when trying to sync my 3G iPhone. I followed several suggestions found here: tried restarting everything, then changing automatic updates in iTunes. I also tried the "scan for hardware changes" suggestion, but nothing worked. Then as per the above posters, I also went into iTunes, selected Apps, and went to the bottom right to get App updates. A list of needed updates appeared with the icons, and as they updated, the icon would disppear, until I was left with "SoundCloud". It appeared to update fine, but the icon remained. I clicked "get update" a couple of times on the icon....it would update but the icon stayed on the list. I tried to sync after this and still got the error. . Then I then deleted SoundCloud from the phone, and the sync worked fine. SoundCloud was reinstalled on my phone during Step 4 of the sync. Hope this helps!!
