iPhone 4 slow to respond with ios 5

Right, first, has anyone noticed that a double press of the home button when in lock mode will bring up the music controls at the top, and a camera quick key next to the slider. All useful stuff.

Now for the problems. My updated iPhone 4 to iOS 5 often ignores the home key, and also often treats single home key strokes as a double press. That suggests iOS 5 is lagging, or busy stuck in a loop. And what's with the keyboard? Do we really need it reloading the layers between key strokes. When the text box this is typed in moves on the screen, the added delay causes other layers to show while typing ( by layers, I mean other languages). We don't need the world over language base loading for an English keyboard. That's what slows typing down. Now as the iPhone 4S uses a newer graphics GPU over the older iPhone 4, I'm guessing the driver for the iPhone 4 is not optimised, so it's causing some display performance issues. Finally, the iPhone 4 uses a Cortex A8, while the iPhone 4S uses a Cortex A9 dual core, so again, iOS 5 clearly has an issue with CPU performance. Now I know Steve Jobes would have funny comment for this moment, like don't type it that way. But really, who is testing iOS 5. Clearly we the consumers are.
