I have 2799 songs in iTunes. When I sync my iPhone 4s with 64GB, it Sync's 704 songs even though I have Entire Library checked.
For instance, I have a 5 disc set of Moody Blues Tine Traveler in the library, and it only sync's Disc 4.
When I connect my old iPod Video, it gets all the songs.
Any ideas?

I don't think I am supressing errors. I have 36.4GB Free
I also created a Play List with all the Moody Blues music, and when I sync, I only get about 6 songs.
Okay, finally figured it out. When in iTunes, and I click on Music, not all of the songs are checked. Not sure how they got unchecked, and why the iPod had all the songs, but once I selected all the music, and checked it, they media transfered to the iPhone.
Just wanted to let everyone knkow the result.
I am having the same issue, but I have checked all the settings and everything and yet i can not get all my music on. I have about 1200 songs and it will only put about 400 on. I have plenty of free space because i put all the music on before. I went to put on two new albums and it wiped out all of my music. SOMEONE HELP!!!! haha. Oh.. BTW, I have an Iphone 4 32 GB
Ok. I figured it out. I have zonealarm on my pc and it was stopping me from syncing properly. ZONEALARM MUST BE SHUTDOWN!!! haha. thanks
Just plug in your iPhone and make sure you enable syncing for it under iTunes... works fine for me.
Unless you've got the iPhone working in manual mode, you can't just drag-n'drop. You need to create a playlist and then tell the iPhone to sync that play list. (If you don't just want it to sync as much music as it can).

This may be an old thread but the problem remains. I have a brand new iPhone 4s. Upgraded from the 3GS. My iphone is in Manual mode because my iTunes library is bigger than the iPhone's capacity.
I can drag and drop music but some songs just won't copy, whether they are checked or not.

i had the same problem, kind of a hassle but if i delete the songs from itunes and then find their location in the folder on my computer, and readd them, then resync my phone, it worked. such a hassle though but that solved my problem. đ
