zoom with trackpad/magic mouse in FCP X1022 ? does not work

I tried to use the zoom function with my trackpad or Magic Mouse, none of the 2 devices allow zoom (pinch) with FCP X. Is it a known limitation ? I have no trouble with move up/down/left right in the timeline.

Mac Pro, iOS 4.3.2
