sorry this is really not helpful. How about a blow up of an arrow or somthing to show people where you are seeing this light?

Second if you cannot see it with the naked eye but do see it through a camera it is likely infrared it is probaly the sensor that tells your phone when its against your face to turn on and off the screen when you are talking.

Me, I turend off all the things suggested and I am at 40% power from a charge more than 31 hours since my last charge which I am happy with as it is on par with my old phone.

You should also let folks know that English is not your first language. It's cool we can understand just the spelling is a bit rough.

I tried this fix first on the first black 4s I had. Settings/General/Siri/Raise to Speak = OFF.

Did not solve the issue.

Got a new WHITE 4s, same everything else and it did not stop the battery drain.

The battery issue is AFFECTED by ANYTHING that has a draw on it, expecially proximity sensors. Turning this off might HELP, but it is not the solution.

The main problem might be: TWO antenna assemblies on at all times when there only used to be one.

The other issues could be defective antenna assemblies that are drwaing more power than deisnged to, Apple never upgraded the battery to handle more draw with a new chip and both antennas.

Worst case: defective antennas and defective/underpowered batteries

Here is what I really think happened (and granted, I have not opened up the phone to see what is what yet):

-Apple decides to put in TWO different cell technologies into a phone to save manufacturing costs that only had one or the other in the past: CDMA and GSM.

-This is the major difference other than the main chip from the 4 and the 4 is not half as bad as the 4S in battery problems...my old 4 is still doing quite well not being on a charger for three days.

-The battery is now powering TWO different cell antennas.

-If the battery was exactly the same as the 4, then this is our drainage issue and Apple's only solution will be to find a software switch to turn one of the antennas OFF.

-Even if they incorporated a new battery with a somewhat higher capacity, it was not strong enough to handle the draw for two antenna aseemblies.

I am on AT&T, why do I need the other antenna on at all, ever? Verizon's customers may need it for travel.

-The other options are worse

-they have a defective antenna assembly that is quickly draining batteries on most phones around the world

-they have a massive set of batteries that are defective

-or both

Now some more illogic from Apple: If it was software, why are they instantly replacing so many phones? Is this just to appease us and/or to end with the perfect excuse to remanufacture phones for Applecare replacement as this looks like its going to be replaced, a lot.

Wow. I also managed to reproduce the problem. Here is what I did. I noticed the purple light with a seperate camera. Then I turned off Siri altogether but the light was still on. Then I did a hard reset and the purple light is now off. Fingers crossed. Also, I noticed that my bluetooth setting was on but I never use it and the bluetooth indicator was never on the status bar section(next to battery percentage on home screen).
