hdmi cable compatibility
I need to connect a monitor on my macbook pro.
I have a HDMI cable that i use with my XBOX.
I am going to buy a mini displayport hdmi adapter. Can I use this cable or will i have to buy another one?

You can use that cable. It will plug into the MiniDisplay Port to HDMI adapter.
