Recording Skype video calls

When running the Skype app on the iPad 2, is there a way another app can record at least the audio portion of the video phone call?

I have been trying to figure out if there's an app that can do that but thus far haven't found a way. I found one hint on the web but the hint doesn't work. Essentially, the hint is to use any voice recording app, run it, and then open Skype and make the call. Supposedly the voice recording app would then record the Skype conversation. That doesn't happen though because the Skype call stops the voice recording app immediately.

Any hints?
