My only guess is go to settings --> messages --> make sure MMS messaging is on.
No luck
Try this... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...
iPhone Reset

Did not work
Sounds like your last option is to backup your data and restore the phone.
I just updated to 5.0.1
I'll try to go back to 5.0
You won't be able to go back to 5.0. Just restore your pohone to 5.0.1 which reinstalls the iOS and loads your data that you backed up.
I don't understand why I'm not getting any help fro Apple?
What help are you expecting from Apple? A response on this forum? Or did you call them?
I called them they referred me to a paid technician
I paid $650 for this phone. It is factory unlocked because I'm with T-mobile.
Why can't apple have a technician on this forum?
I'm not sure.
You can go to apple.com/feedback to submit feedback to them.

This is a user to user support forum. If you want/need support from Apple, pick up the phone and call them.
Basic troubleshooting steps are reset, restart, restore. Have any of these been tried?
FIXED!!!! Finally! Go to Settings, General, Network, and tap the Cellular Data Network options. These are the settings I used for MMS:
APN - wap.cingular
Username (Blank)
Password (Blank)
MMSC - mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy - 66.209.11.32
MMS Max Message Size (I deleted the value inside, but is came back after I closed the Settings app)
MMS UA Prof URL (Blank)
As soon as I closed the Settings app and went back to the Messages app, the camera icon was no longer greyed out. Hope this helps...
