Help! Installed Aqua Extreme theme can't get rid of it!?

Good evening everyone!

A hour ago , I was bored and decided to search for some themes to 'update' my interface. I just searched 'Mac themes' on google and I ended up with a site with a lot of themes on it. I decided to download one and install it.

After I installed it , my whole interface got messed up , the menubar at top is transparent with a ugly yellow bar beneath it which appears to be badly rendered , when I go in let's say 'Finder' everything is blue/white and yellow through each other , can't understand a bit of it.. But it just looks ugly , uglier then you can imagine

With the theme came an uninstaller , I did it multiple times and I rebooted it each time after it. But I just can NOT get rid of it.. I don't know what to do and I am quite panicking about it since I need this laptop everyday in college ( Mediadesign education program )

I got this Macbook Pro , 2-3 months ago and it had the newest version ; Lion I believe it is.

Maybe these themes aren't compatible with it that's why it went all wrong or something..

I really need some help here,

Seeing as how you say your at 10.7.2, I suppose you ignored the warning not to install on any operating systems other then 10.5 and 10.6?

I suggest that your question should really be posted to MaxThemes instead of here seeing as how it is their code.

Looks like it's not Lion-compatible:

Note the "DO NOT" at the bottom. As for removing, it may be best to contact that site's support to see if they have an uninstall option.

EDIT: Looks like the other Allan was faster on the keyboard!

Well , since Lion is 1.7 and my Mac automatically updates to the newest version hence the 1.7.2

You are probably right , I will try to post this at their 'forum' if they have one.

Hope they can help me =)

But that doesn't mean I won't get help from the guys here anymore , will it D: ?

Well.. to be honoust with you guy's.

I just found out that I got a higher version then was stated there.

( I am a noob , I don't know anything about these things , it was stupid from me to experiment with these things and now I am paying the price for it )

The so-called "uninstaller" installs pirated copies of files from some version of 10.6. It's useless on Lion.

Back up all data, then boot from your recovery partition (command-R at startup) and follow the prompts to reinstall. After rebooting, run Software Update.

I am now making a back up of my Mac,

If that is done I need to reboot it , while it is I need to do cmd+R and I need to follow something , correct?

When that's all done , I need to run software updates and I will be good and all?

If you give me a proper Lion theme and I install that , won't this theme I currently installed get overlapped?
